The firm recently expanded its practice to include Education Law with the addition of Isabel Machado, Esq. Ms. Machado has extensive experience in the area of education law.

• Served as general counsel, special education counsel and negotiator.

• In the area of special education, represented school districts in all aspects of due process petitions regarding the education placement of children with disabilities and has participated in IEP meetings and mediations.
  
  
• Conducted workshops, seminars and development courses for school board members, administrators and educational professionals.
  
  
• Assisted and directed negotiations and handled fact-finding and mediation sessions.
