After receiving her law degree, Donna Lee Vitale served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Michael Winkelstein, J.S.C. in Atlantic County. Ms. Vitale represents employers in employment discrimination cases and civil rights claims against public entities. Ms. Vitale serves as the Municipal Prosecutor in Burlington Township, New Jersey.

She has defended employers in various discrimination claims under State and Federal law, including the Family Medical Leave Act, sexual harassment, racial discrimination, hostile work environment claims and retaliation. Ms. Vitale has drafted employee manuals and policies.

Ms. Vitale is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association. She earned her B.S. from Stockton State College and served an internship in the office of U.S. Senator Bill Bradley. She received her J.D. Degree from Rutgers Law School. Ms. Vitale was a member of the Rutgers Women's Rights Law Journal and received the Carol Russ Memorial Award.
